One of the New Forest's best keep secrets,
this quiz on the very edge of the New Forest has been running
for some years is held every Sunday Night.
This friendly pub has a warm and inviting
interior with very friendly staff and locals! The Quiz starts
at 8.15pm.
Entry Fee
This is only £1.00 per player with no
limit to how many is in a team. The Winning Team takes all the
money paid in with no team dominating which usually happens in
other pub quizzes.
On Bank Holiday weekends and in the height of summer, this pub
is very busy and sometimes the first prize winning team can take
up to £100! Not bad
for a night's work!
On the first week in July the pub hosts the
Sway Carnival Pub Quiz which is normally on a Wednesday, this
year (2007) on a Thursday, and is one of the busiest nights of
the year with entrants having to turn up early for a table. The
quiz compere also will play people's favourite records for a nominal
fee which all goes to charity.

...all picking up other prizes.
Entrants to the quiz get a FREE RAFFLE TICKET for each drink they purchase.
After the quiz,the lucky ticket has a chance to win a minimum of £50 in PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT.
Five pounds is added each week if no one correctly predicts the cards.
Good music is played throughout the night, and
on some winter nights, a FREE
plate of Roast Potatoes are given out to the customers!
